A research in 2008 noticed that a fan placed in the baby’s room lowered their risk of sudden infant death syndrome by 70%. As you might imagine than Fan keeps the room ventilated avoiding build-up of carbon dioxide. Other great ways to help your baby safe at night is keeping the windows slightly cracked, as well as using an air filter.
This does not by any means ensure your baby’s safety against SIDS and you should continue using other techniques known such as placing your child on their back and/or avoiding soft bedding in the crib. As De-Kun Li, MD, PhD, told WebMD “This is one more thing that parents can do for peace of mind.”
